Association
for Research and Enlightenment
A.R.E. of Houston and the Houston A.R.E. Center are
affiliates of The Association for Research and Enlightenment,
Inc of Virginia Beach, Virginia and are sponsored by the
Houston S.F.G. Council, Inc., a Texas non-profit
organization, for the purposes of spiritual education.
These organizations research and present the concepts found in
the work of the late Edgar Cayce.

The Houston A.R.E.
Center
The
Center is located in the Spring Branch area of Houston and
offers meeting space for special events (conferences, workshops
and lectures) and weekly classes. The Center also has a
research library which includes extensive materials about the
Work of Edgar Cayce and a bookstore featuring a wide variety of
titles, gifts, gemstones, incense, candles, bulk herbs,
alternative remedies and more.
Part of our funding is from Center Memberships. Members
receive a 10% discounts on books and products and a 10%
discounts on programming. Members can take home books and
tapes from the library. The cost of membership is $40 per
year.
The A.R.E. Center
Complex
The
Center Complex contains 17,000 square feet of space. The
Center occupies 3,000 square feet and the rest is being
developed for compatible professionals, businesses and other
non-profit organizations. The goal is to gather a wide
variety of activities in one building to better serve the
physical, mental and spiritual needs of the metaphysical
community of Southeast Texas.

The
Association for Healing Research
The Association investigates the effects and effectiveness of
healing devices associated with the Cayce readings as
well as any other devices which show promise for maintaining
wellness. Our emphasis and perspective is rejuvenation of the
body. Participation in the research is restricted to
Association Members.
SEARCH FOR GOD STUDY
Groups in Southeast Texas
A.R.E. sponsors no-charge
Search for God Study Group programs that meet in private homes.
These groups study material developed by the original group and
Edgar Cayce. The “A Search For God” texts are a must for
the developing student of metaphysics. If you are interested in
learning about the nature of the human condition in relation to
God, each other and ourselves, these groups are a treasure.
