The only certainty is change, or perhaps you
resonate to the Chinese Curse “May you live in interesting
times.” These are those times! The Dynamic Duo (Pluto & Charon) in
Capricorn requires that each of us look within to find our
true motivations. As this dynamo moves through the signs in
this cycle, our world grows thru constant restructuring.
Over the next 14 years we are sure to see change, personally and
politically, as an
internal regulation. We are going through the process of
becoming the change we wish to see in the world around us.
This is the surest recipe for success available to anyone at this
time. Presently make sure you are responding to others in
the present and not reacting to the past while the Dynamic Duo is
in the third leg of our on-going Cardinal T-square.
Since late October 2009, when Saturn first entered Libra, the
taskmaster has given us lessons in relationships, offering us
opportunities to learn the rules, regulations, restrictions, and
finally how to have balance in our relationships. This is
one of those places where we get to learn the rules so we know
which ones to break, yet learn them we must.
Saturn moves back into Virgo on the 7th giving us more
room to make cutbacks and get streamlined as we prepare for better
relationships when Saturn moves back into Libra in mid July.
Clues that might steer us in the right direction can be found in
our health, service work and relationships with pets.
Venus is beauty oriented, fond of worldly pleasures and all things
sensual. At this time Venus, ruler of Libra, has moved into
her spring home in Taurus. With 150 degrees between Taurus
and Libra, this aspect encourages us to make adjustments.
This setup will give us the ability to shake up some of those
stuck places we may have noticed recently. Checking in with
all of our senses will be easier now, thus allowing a greater
depth of awareness.
On April 6th, the Dynamic Duo (Pluto & Charon)
begin their apparent retrograde motion bringing them into a square
of Saturn and additional challenges for us locally and globally.
Saturn’s retrograde
from Libra into Virgo will give a couple of minutes (cosmic time)
to
regroup, review and reassess where we are in reference to
ourselves, our world and any relationship we value. This
aspect represents an excellent opportunity to set the cornerstone
for a new future. Now is the time to review, resolve
irritations, remain open to new possibilities, make final
adjustments and take that leap of faith into the great unknown
beyond your preset limits.
How does the Uranus opposition to Saturn (since late 2008) with
both squaring Pluto / Charon affect us now?
It is the nature of Uranus to shake up our neat little world and
help us expand it by bringing new and exciting energy into
governments worldwide. When we harden
ourselves to the process, we push ourselves to new levels
of denial and discomfort. Resistance to the process of
change is becoming less possible. These are long term
aspects. So, there is plenty of time to
be transformed by the process in action. Relax and just roll
with it.
The Uranus opposition to Saturn aspects will be intensified this
summer in a grand cross which can be intense, but also, a highly
productive time.
The New Moon, April 14th
at 24 degrees, 27
minutes Aries, is considered astrologically the first New Moon of
the year and another marker of the year to come. At this
time Diana (Moon) will sextile Neptune and semi-sextile Uranus
inspiring larger thinking and freedom of thought. Enjoy and
explore these experiences.
Soon after, Saturn will help us readjust to reality, hopefully a
bigger reality, if we are working on our awareness practice.
Before the day is over we will be under the influence of steady
Taurus and pragmatism may help us to apply our new growth.
Make your affirmations and wish list regarding
energy, assertiveness, and bold beginnings.
On April 17th Mercury stations to begin his apparent
retrograde until May 11th.
Understand that this time favors the dreamtime and we will be a
bit foggy. Do write a lot of notes and endeavor to read
them, as things get forgotten now. This is not the time to
make a major purchase or sign a contract. Some times these
things cannot be avoided. Save the receipt as there may be
some form of dissatisfaction attached in the long run.
This is an excellent time to redo things, especially organizing
systems that need overhauls such as interpersonal communication,
getting caught up on correspondences or spring cleaning.
This is a wonderful time to play with the kids or indulge in
vacation play time. It is an easy time for many to begin a
dream journal.
On April 20, the Sun moves into fixed sign Taurus
signifying the importance of being grounded and retaining
awareness of what we truly value for peace and security.
Once again Saturn and Uranus oppose each other on April 26 from
the signs Virgo and Pisces.
Saturn and Uranus are engaged in making the fourth in a series of
five oppositions. This aspect is at full strength and
highlighted by it’s close timing to this full moon. “Where
do I stand and what direction do I go?” are the questions posed by
these aspects. These patterns first occurred on election day
2008 as the forces of change (Uranus) overturned the forces of the
status quo (Saturn). We can only guess how the political
process will be affected this time especially as it will
significantly impact both Sec. Clinton and Pres.
Obama’s planets.
On April the 25th, Venus arrives in Gemini,
ready to socialize and change her mind. Don’t worry about
whatever her priorities or desires may be. They will change.
Are you working with a trickster or a brilliant muse? As mind is
the builder, do set your ideals on the muse and explore the
possibilities.
The Full Moon in Scorpio is on April 28th
as Mercury conjuncts the Sun while Mars squares both. The
need to act can be overwhelming. How should we proceed?
Watch out for projection. For every mote in your brothers
eye take a look at the beam in your own.
Be careful as Mercury is retrograde and irritated by Jupiter, so
the view we perceive may be askew. Take a wait and see
attitude before jumping into any grandiose scheme. However,
It sure is a great time to find a bigger picture or the higher
road.
Mars in Leo encourages us to be proud of ourselves.
