This is a powerful month!  Throughout February, Saturn’s retrograde progress will bring him into an exact opposition with Neptune.  This occurs as he moves through Aquarius; structure meets the dreamtime.  In my readings, I have come across many references to the difficulties that these two energies have working with one another.  There are also numerous changes they have enacted together throughout history both in disaster and triumph.  Amazingly, at this time, we can access the bridge building energy of Saturn in Leo and direct it toward the spiritual humanitarian energy of Neptune in Aquarius.  Now is the time to move into the 4th dimensional Age of Aquarius.  The heavens are assisting us!  As we use our minds to build our highest ideals, we extend into an ideal future.  Through the force of magnetism this future comes forth to meet us.  Align yourself to the most inspirational thoughts.  The energy is there to move you forward.  Hold on to inspiration, do the work and grasp the opportunities as they come.  Keep a clear focus on your ideals and they can become reality.
  

Until the 12^th of the month you will be able to see Mercury in the twilight, watch in the west near the horizon.

Look near Mercury as the Sun sets to pick out Venus.  The evening star will climb higher and shine more brightly as the month goes on. Look for Venus in the evening sky until mid August.  On the 19th she will be with the crescent moon.

Saturn turns on the lights as he reaches opposition to the Sun on the 10^th this will be the closest Saturn comes to the earth this year.  Many telescopes will show Saturn’s rings at this time.

Note Worthy: On the 10^th Mercury appears too slow for its apparent retrograde station; this is called Mercury in Storm.  At his slowest, Mercury has the effect of slowing down our thoughts.  Be more aware of others as many people are less aware at this time.  This is not generally considered a good time to begin a new project. Mercury’s apparent retrograde begins on Valentine’s Day.  Are your papers in order? Big purchases made?  Prepared to be a little more right brained?  Meditation, dream incubation, any study that favors inner-work is encouraged at this time.  Also don’t be surprised to find all the ”re’s” in action, remember, re-access, re-create, you get the idea.  It’s time to recalibrate whatever needs reinventing.  The Full Snow Moon, late on the 1^st co-insides with Ground Hog Day and the Cross Quarter Holiday Imboloc, (or Candlemas).  This is an ancient time to take stock of our resources and reallocate them so they will hold us until the spring thaw.  How are your resources harnessed at this time?  Any adjustments that need to be made?  Now is the time. Jupiter, to be considered by many as their lucky star, is at 14° ° of Sagittarius.  Aligned to a mysterious point in the universe called the Great Attractor.  Both of these points are known to magnify or expand whatever they are aspecting.  Since they are together my focus will be on expanding my luck; yours should be too!  This month’s Full Moon brings several planets into position checking in with this marvelous energy.  Right after the Full Moon, look for opportunities to knock.  Inspiration, awareness, however you tap into the flow, the opening is coming.  Be Ready!
  

The Sun enters Pisces February 18^th.  This is the Chinese New Year, the year of the Boar.  After the Buddha reached enlightenment, he placed his hand on the ground and called the animals to him.  The first twelve to respond were given a place of honor in the Chinese Zodiac; these animals answered this call based on inner faith.  When the Sun is in Pisces we are asked to rely more than usual on our inner faith, as all our other guidance systems are dampened in this position.  This is a good opportunity to become more aware of our boundaries.  They are more permeable at this time, making this an excellent time to repair any leaks in our personal energy field.  Venus moves into Aries so start a new project, quick!  Act on impulse, fall in love suddenly.  Get out your favorite red apparel, play with the energy, and create.  But don’t make any large permanent changes.  Venus in Aries changes her mind like others change clothes!

Mars Storms Aquarius on the 26^th Look for the unusual, the unorthodox, and new ways to tweak the energy.  See yourself moving towards a point that allows for more independence to pursue your true identity, your rightful place in the wheel of life.  Remember every action we take that allows us to grow and find ourselves is an opportunity for all humanity to step into a larger life.

Mercury re-enters Aquarius on the 27^th Look for the unbiased truth in your world and allow your mind to open.  There are so many new experiences if we open ourselves to the Infinite.  Mercury in Aquarius enhances our telepathic abilities.  Practice sending and receiving thoughts.  There is nothing like getting the right answer to boost your confidence!  Using the energy of Mars, also in Aquarius, you may be able to free your mind to float in the sea of infinite mind. Be sure to ground safely before you go.
  

Mercury enters Pisces on the 3^rd Welcome to the group mind!  It’s not the Borg but thoughts are flying everywhere and more clearly heard than usual.  Harness these thoughts and direct them at your hearts desire.  Visualize and imagine with all your senses.  Begin the process of manifesting your dreams.  Later, we will travel back into Aquarius and review them and make any adjustments needed.  When we return to this same point at the middle of next month, we will have the clarity our energy needs to navigate our way safely to a brighter future.  This world, the planet, us, and all of humanity benefit anytime anyone grows.  Retrogrades are a time best used to review and reconnect to your ideals.  See where you need to give a little more, hold yourself accountable, take the big inner steps that lead to true growth during this process.
   

This moon is at the last minute of the 12^th degree, in close aspect opposing the Sun to conjunct Pallas Athena.  This gives us the wisdom to handle whatever comes up.  We also have Mars pushing us to take care of business no matter what utopia we wish to live in.  We have to adjust our emotions to handle the increase awareness coming in at this time.  Also in the 12^th degree, we have Uranus conjunct our new Minor Planet Circes.  This is sextile and getting little push from Mars.  Erratic behavior at this time may be easy to come by.  Make sure it is bringing you in a direction you want to travel in.  All of these planets will meet up with Jupiter in the next day or so.  This has the opportunity to be a very lucky time, if we have the ability to keep our wits about us.  Focus on the goal and take advantage of the gifts that are offered to us at this time.  Jupiter, our lucky planet, is sitting on the Great Attracter.  Allow the emotions of your hearts desire to lead you forward at this time.  Mercury is at the last degree of Aquarius conjunct the degree of the New Moon.  Mercury will retrograde over this point and then travel back for one last pass at clarity.  See what you want, hold it in your mind. Expect an answer, expect a miracle.  You just may see one.
  

New Moon February 17th at 12:15 pm 28° 37" of Aquarius

This New Moon is once again in the last degrees of its sign, offering us another chance to finish up work.  Throw out any old programs that are holding you back.  Now is the perfect time to let go of that old baggage and move firmly into the 21^st century otherwise known as the Age of Aquarius.  Six months in a row, since the eclipse in September until the eclipse in March, ALL of the new moons will have been at the end of a sign.  These are opportunities to raise us to the highest expression these energies have to offer.  This moon reinforces the theme of the month; finding new ways to express ourselves and remember and express our unique potential.  Set your intent on this New Moon to become a part of the greater force of Spirit that surrounds all of life.
