We are now into the fourth year of the on going Saturn Neptune opposition. This opposition will perfect on Feb 28th and March 1st but will remain in effect until mid August. This aspect can assist us in building our dreams, as Neptune allows us to dream, and Saturn assists us to build firm foundations below them. Look back to early 2003; how have you reassessed your life since that time? Do you still want what you wanted then?

We have had an opportunity to increase our self-mastery, our tolerance and hopefully strengthened our network of like-minded people. We are in position to grow the life of our dreams.
 

Low in the west after sunset look for Venus as she resumes her journey as the evening star. Low in the east before dawn, look for bright Jupiter and his traveling companion Mars all month. Mid-month watch for Saturn to rise in the east at dark, he gets easier to see as night falls. On the 20th just after sunset in the western sky the Moon will visit with Venus.

Reminder: Mercury goes retrograde on Valentine’s Day; get all your papers in order and your big purchases made. Prepare to be a little more right brained. Our Sun begins his passage through Aquarius on the 19^th of January.  At this time of year progressive thinking will be easier to encounter.  Aquarius the most humane of the signs, reminds us to think of our fellow man, with tolerance and generosity.  This is a very inventive sign.  If you are looking for more independence in your life now is a good time to experiment.

Venus sails into Pisces January 27^th. Sympathy for the underdog can be misleading right now.  Remember we help each other with our burdens yet we must carry our own loads. Now is a good time to try a new form of writing or any creative expression you have been contemplating.  Go for it whether it is painting, dance, or photography.

This Full Moon is the opposition of the Gates by which the ancients believed we entered and left this world.  The moon is in Cancer, the Cosmic Womb, and the home of Unconditional Love.  How can we feel secure within ourselves?  Now is the time to truly open our hearts and allow the process to unfold.  With the Sun is in Capricorn we ask, how can we make the world a safer place?  Remember that Peace and Happiness are inside jobs.  The Sun is conjunct Mercury, which means we have the ability to focus our intent clearly on manifesting our dreams.  Hold the vision you have for your life and see it coming to fruition.  Venus is within a degree of the Capricorn New Moon; we can identify that which we value even clearer now.  Uranus is trine the Moon; it is easier to be original at this time.  Uranus is also sextile the Sun conjunct Mercury; if we harness this energy it can give us the spark we need to get things going.  We can use the light of this moon to illuminate the responses of our highest self.  Remember mind is the builder and our thoughts are things; what are you choosing to build?  Upgrading our thoughts to a higher awareness is easier now.
