We have been through an intense month of aspects and are moving into an aspect filled many obvious doorways and some less obvious pitfalls.  In times like these faith is your best guide.  Things are beginning to move faster than we can even pretend to be in control of any more.  The strategy I think will benefit you the most will be to catch this wave and ride it.  This one has a lot of refined energy to move our energy to a higher vibration.  All you have to do is surrender that steering wheel and know God is in the driver's seat.  Then do your best.  I can hear the chuckles to that one, but honestly do we really have another choice?

    
Viewing the Night Sky
 

In the dawn we can see Mercury just before the sunrise.  He will become brighter as the month move along.  Look just east of north and you'll see the winged messenger fly by on his way to the evening sky.  He'll do his disappearing act behind the Sun as he moves into Leo.  Mercury will catch up to and pass Ol' Sol at the end of the month.

You will be able to see the conjunction of Mars and Saturn, as these two get closer together.  Remember to hold as much peaceful space as possible as this is an intense aspect.  Dianna will be aligned with them on the 6th.  Watch for her there.  On the 10th the conjunction will be exact and the pressure will begin to let up.  Jupiter is up all night now.  See him all month as he appears to move backwards through Capricorn.  This is an excellent placement to enhance self-discipline.  Watch for Venus in the evening sky as she makes her return later in the month.
 
Planetary Progress

   

Mars moves into Virgo on the 2nd and it is time to get our energy in order as we have a better assessment of our abilities, and where we may be interested in applying them.  Taking care of pets, health and diet are wonderful uses of this energy.  Mars will be conjunct Saturn through the 18th with the exact conjunction on the 10th.  This will be an interesting time to observe your energy.  This will be a very clear experience of Mars running up to his limits.  This is the beginning of a cycle that will last more than 2 years.  Use this awareness to set a healthy pattern.  As a preventative, fine tuning at the beginning is oh so much easier than that pound of cure.

 

Mercury moves into Cancer on the 11th and we can begin to process all the information we discovered while Mercury took a long sojourn through his Gemini home. Remember Mercury also rules Virgo so he and Mars are in an easy accord.  We now begin to see all the progress we made while we have been processing.  As the Sun enters Leo on the 22nd, creativity is highlighted, as are children and our inner pride.  It's time to let loose and play a bit, explore your sense of humor and discover new avenues of self-expression.
 

Venus enters Leo on the 13th and the peacocks are out and about.  What fun to shine in our own uniqueness.  Have you been thinking of recreating your image?  This is one more impulse to honor ourselves and grow as individuals.  This lion may roar but if you watch the cubs they're the ones having all the fun.
 

Mercury enters Leo on the 26th and exercising with a friend is just a little more fun.  Now is the time for tennis, jogging, golf or a refreshing swim.  Mercury rules the arms and lungs, so remember to breath deeply.  Whenever you wish you can see the light entering your body on the in-breath filling your lungs.  As this breath is exhaled, see the light pass into your heart and radiate out.

 
PLANETARY Motion
  

While all the outer planets are apparently in retrograde motion it is a time to reflect on those principles we hold as a society.  What part of this experience belongs to the collective consciousness?  What part is our own?  We are standing in a cusp land where the outer world and our inner perceptions have a place to meet. Personal inventories must be cleaned up and refined.  Where are we willing to grow-up?  The outer planets appearing in retrograde motion cause us to pause and reflect on what is important, and how we can enhance that part of our experience.

Jupiter's apparent retrograde in Capricorn is uniquely placed this month.

 Directed by the outer planets, as we turn our awareness within, we will experience the passage of our innermost personal planets as they pass through Cancer as if in review. At the New Moon we will have the opportunity to look at the world of Venus.  As we move towards the energies of the first quarter moon and our review of the Sun, we are challenged to examine our innermost heart and reveal it's secret strengths.  Take what actions you can to become true to yourself. During the Full Moon you can review what Mercury is doing by noticing your words, thoughts, the songs you hear and the movies you see. You can then reprocess and make adjustments in you life.

The beginning of the ‘dog days of summer’ coincide with the New Moon and conjuncts the Sun in the chart of the United States. This offers us a chance at a new beginning by tuning in and saying some potent prayers for our nation. We can apply this energy of renewal to our inner and outer worlds alike.  We can grow exponentially at this time by reaching out and actively healing relationships. The healing will extend to many levels. You can go far if you ride this wave with a little balance and concentration and a willingness to let go of control.   May the Force be with you.

Pluto and Charon are standing by to give those efforts a real good testing. Pluto and Charon are standing by to give those efforts a real good testing.  If you wait until the 19th, the world will offer opportunities to see yourself in a clearer light.  Mars and Chiron will open a doorway and give you a glimpse of yourself as a whole and healthy human beings.  This is an excellent time to honor yourself as an individual in need of space or as part of the group whichever feels the most comfortable. 

Needing to be alone or in a group is a key question to ask if you wish to find bliss.  Watch your emotions and the places they pull you towards for suggestions about what needs work and your attention now.
