Edgar
Cayce successfully dealt with infectious diseases
before modern pharmaceuticals. He used diet,
atomic iodine, subtle energy machines, light, carbon
ash, the charred oak keg and other remedies to
overcome illness. And most of all he recommended
preventative measures. Keeping the body slightly
alkaline offers the first barrier to infectious
agents because they don't do well in an alkaline
system.
The
Charred Oak Keg with apple brandy is an effective
counter for respiratory illness. Inhaling
these fumes will not only kill the germs and
viruses in our respiratory track but also
stimulate the regeneration of lung tissue.
Daily use of the keg could prevent colds, flu,
anthrax, and many other diseases.
The
charred Oak keg is a treatment recommended about
50 times in the Edgar Cayce readings, primarily in
cases of tuberculosis and pleurisy. This
treatment consists of inhaling the fumes of 100
proof apple brandy from a charred oak keg.
The charcoal filtered fumes (alcohol plus numerous
substances from the apple brandy and oak wood) is
an antiseptic for the lungs. According to
the readings, these inhalations destroy tubercular
bacteria and have a beneficial effect on the body
as well.
"The
activity on this is not only for the destruction
of the live tubercle tissue, but it acts as an
antiseptic for all irritated areas; also giving
activity to cellular forces of the corpuscle
itself. It acts as a stimuli to the
circulation, then, recharging each cell as it
passes through areas so affected by the radiation
of the gasses from this fluid
itself."

"For
the properties inhaled will work with the activity
of the respiratory system, as well as the
properties contained therein will act upon the
influences of the liver and kidneys in their
ability to be purified—in the
assimilating of these forces that arise from the
infusion of these influences
indicated."
1557-1*
"This
will act not only as an antiseptic, but will so
change the lung tissue as to bring about healing
of the lung tissues, and will also increase the
abilities of assimilation , and we will have
improvement."
5053-1*
"These
(inhalations) will irritate at first, but use
through the nostril for the stopping of cough, as
well as inhaling into the
lungs."
3594-1*
"Do
not attempt to inhale too much in the beginning or
it will be inclined to produce too much
intoxication for the
body."
2448-1*
"Before
using again, rinse with warm—not hot, but warm
water, so that the accumulations from the
distillation or evaporation of the properties are
removed, and there is less of that influence of
force which arises from the acids that come from
such infusions (apple
brandy).*
